The idea of writing this blog first came to me about 3 years ago, but with everything that has been going on in our lives, it got put on hold.
However over the past couple of months in my devotion time with God, and with encouragement from friends I feel the time is now right to start blogging about this wonderful relationship I have with my heavenly father and all He continues to do for me and teach me.
The timing was confirmed on Thursday last week I read the scripture, Psalm 73v28, But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God and made Him my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works. (AMP)
And then an hour later a friend texted me Psalm 71v14-24, verse 15, 'My mouth shall tell of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is more than I know.' and verse 18, 'Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, [but keep me alive] until I have declared Your mighty strength to [this] generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come.' (AMP) particularly spoke to me.
So I am being obedient. Only God knows what I will write and when I will write it (hopefully at least once a week), but I am trusting Him that it will be encouraging to all who read these words, and will help people to draw on Jesus for the strength and courage to live a life of peace and love.
